WM Junior Squad
The West Midlands Junior Squad exists to support Junior Orienteering in the West Midlands Region. Membership is open to any promising and committed young person aged from 12 to 18 who is a committed orienteer, has attained their appropriately coloured West Midlands Orienteering Association Badge, is a member of one of the West Midlands Orienteering Association Clubs and regularly competes at West Midlands League Orienteering Events.
Colour badge requirements:
For M/W12: as a minimum you need to hold your Orange badge and also to have completed some Light Green courses successfully.
M/W14 and above: you will be regularly competing on Light Green courses and be in the process of attaining your Light Green badge.
The squad is supported by an annual donation from WMOA funds, with additional fundraising by members. This includes very well supported cake stalls at events. The squad is registered with Easyfundraising. This is a site that donates money to your chosen cause if you buy things through them, so please visit the site and register.
The squad aims to hold training sessions (single days and full weekends) once a month and has its own website here.
