WM Urban League Rules
The West Midlands Urban League is an INDIVIDUAL competition which takes place over a number (currently around 5 or 6 although this may increase as more are staged) of nominated Regional urban events organised by the WMOA clubs over the course of a calendar year (to avoid confusion over age class changes). To ensure the quality of competition these events must have a Controller from outside the organising club.
Clubs nominate events to be part of the league at the WMOA Fixtures meeting held in the preceding October. The meeting also decides how many events will count towards an individual’s total score.
The age categories and scoring system for these events are the same as for the UK Urban League and are detailed here.
Once a competitor has run more than the number of counting events for the year only their highest scores will be included in their total score.
