This was held on Saturday 1st January 2022, at Parkhall Country Park and organised by Potteries Orienteering Club.
The Trophy is awarded to the club winning a 60-minute score event held every New Year’s Day in memory of Laurie Bradley, one of the pioneers of orienteering in the region and organised by WMOA clubs in turn.
Runners compete both as an individual and for their club; you don’t have to be a member of a West Midlands club to attend.
Octavian Droobers have won the 2021 West Midlands League. They pulled away from both Harlequins and Wrekin Orienteers after the final event on home territory, with Wrekin just squeezing past HOC by 10 points. Well done OD!
Details of next year’s events will be updated soon.
